Inadequate Otis. Before we even commence to delve into Shane’s actions to finish the episode, there’s something else that is been bugging me for now two episodes. Near the middle of last night’s anxiety attack, when Shane returns to the house with the health care supplies, after explaining that Otis didn’t help it become (before we knew precisely why Otis didn’t make this back), Rick tries to comfort the remaining portion of the group by saying of which Otis, “wanted to allow it to become right. ” Make this right? This pisses me off.
Hey, Rick, all Otis did was shoot in a deer. You know, one particular pesky little things humans now have to do out of necessity because outbreak. I mean, it may not be like Otis was slinging the gun around like Scott Scanlon trying to show off and it accidentally fired a circle into Carl’s chest. On the other hand… you are the individual who thought it was a good idea to let your kid try and pet a deer. Even minus the obvious dangers that ended up happening, this is some sort of wild animal. Do you realize what wild animal are wont to perform, Rick? Wild animals were known to attack humans when they are scared. But, zero, you just had that will let your kid make an effort to… actually, I have no idea what the final game was there. To be able to touch it? What’s the best result in this problem, that Carl only commitment Lyme Disease? Anyway, to suit your needs and your wife that will put the blame on Otis for this is asinine. This is all giving you, Rick.
Shane Walsh is a scoundrel. I mean, seem, even after all of the terrible things that Shane as done over the, now, nine episodes of the show, the other actions may just be blamed on lust and also anger at seeing ladies abused. Maybe. But it’ll be hard to ever like Shane as a character again. He (and the writers) went all in during this one. Especially considering that Otis will be only reason that Shane remains to be alive.
To be truthful, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen an added selfish act of self-preservation on a television show before. To shoot another man’s kneecap off such close proximity to your horde of zombies might just be at the top with the list for “despicable act by a television character who is just not inherently evil. ” What was odd was, immediately after, as the two wrestled around for a little bit, they seemed to have a great deal of time. The truck wasn’t that miles away and they wasted the best 30 seconds fighting to the ground before Shane eventually finished poor Otis off for ever. Couldn’t they have just got to the truck by then without the human betrayal?
Yes, it appears that Shane feels awful. He feels so awful that he shaved the head and transformed himself into Season One Jack Shephard. FINE, yes, that was probably to hide up that Otis possessed ripped a chunk with Shane’s hair out. Yet he was shaking, suitable? Wasn’t that real? I guess we won’t know for a little bit. Which is good, because this is actually the first time this year that I’ve openly cared concerning the actions and motivations of your character – and through the end of the third episode, it was with regards to time.
