OPI Muppets Collection

This winter season, OPI pays reverence to America’s precious Muppet friends as they hitthe silver screen in Disney’s The Muppets. With an all-star cast of characters and the entire Muppet band, the children comedy debuts in theaters everywhere on November 23, 2011.

inspired by the film’s animated and lively muppets, OPI started 12 limited fingernail Lacquers for Holiday 2011. OPI was eager to work with Disney to advocate this long-awaited cinema release. Not only do The Muppets muppets elate lively, illuminated, and animating colors, the chic Miss Piggy lends her big name to three high-shimmer coral-based hues, varying from strong red dappled with sterling to a multi-dimensional strawberry color. This line features 6 glittery reds and neutrals, as well as 6 sparkles-packed tints.

Let me announce to you, it was essentially impossible to elect a favorite tone from the pile, so I destined to hone in on selecting the most fall encouraged shade, which is … Warm & Fozzie. Even the name appeals cozy, brilliance, Thanksgiving celebration (well, that and a certain chestnut woolly marionette). And glower at the coolness of this color. It’s the most wonderful shimmery copper.

The other pair hues that really popped out to me were Pepe’s Purple Passion and Excuse Moi!. PPP is a dazzling shade of red with tons of tiny glitter dross. The color of the finger nail polish is a little drab so it kind of swallows the face of the sparkles. It also has a bit of a bumpy composition so you use one or two good applications of top coat if you don’t like seeing it. In these pictures you can actually see the texture because I took them without a top coat on. Excuse Moi! is, in my opinion, the best glitter from this collection. Instead of a clear base it has a slight pink colorant to it. There is a heap of different sized sparkles in two shades of pink, as well as amber, turquoise, peacock, salmon, and silver sparkles packed into this container.

To organize The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to redeem the stage, Walter, Mary and Gary assist Kermit join together again the Muppets, who have all gone their diverse ways: Fozzie now plays with a Reno casino, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor, Animal is in anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing business man.
